Jennio McHenry
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Jennio. I have been training dogs since the age of 8. Showing dogs in 4H for 9 years was definitely what led me into the pet grooming industry. I have years of experience working on a guest ranch in the Colorado Rockies as well as assisting in a small animal veterinary practice. These experiences "groomed" me to cultivate a well-rounded skill set and outlook on animal care. This is what has given me my keen attention to detail and overall understanding of the medical needs of pets. I started grooming full time in 2006. My love of animals and artistic skills have made pet grooming a fun and enjoyable venture.

I've groomed around 23,000 dogs!
I race my own dogs.
I've worked on most breeds but terriers are one of my favorites to groom. I think it's because they are so tough (even the little ones).
Favorite Breed
Sighthounds! I love how graceful they are. Their elegant, flowing, and athletic movement reminds me of my days working with horses. I own three Whippets named Wallace, Rivet, and Kraken.

Haircut & Non-Shedding Breeds
This is our full groom. It includes an oxygenated bath with coat enhancing shampoo & "re-moisturizing" conditioner. This is followed by our famous blueberry facial & blow-out: low temperature hair drying technique. Finally, we take care of details with a nail trim, ear cleaning& hairstyle of choice. Call for complimentary price estimates.
Tidy-Ups
This service is for haircut & non-shedding breeds. It includes all the service of a full groom but costs $10 less than your usual visit for that in-between phase.
Shedding Breeds
We start with a de-shedding shampoo & conditioner & a full de-shed treatment. We follow up with a blueberry facial & blow out: low temperature hair drying technique. Then tend to a nail trim ear cleaning & trim for feet & feathers as needed.

We want your pet to feel pampered with a warm bath in a temperature controlled environment using products that are specifically pH balanced for dogs or cats. We work one-on-one with your pet(s) alone from start to finish. Our goal is to provide a positive and stress free groom for your best friend. We do our best to provide both health & happiness. Feel free to call ahead and request any accommodations that will create a comfortable experience for you and your pet.

Service Disclaimers:
We'd like to inform you ahead of time that we don't do anal glands. If improperly done it can cause serious injury. We recommend you discuss it with your veterinarian.
We highly discourage the shave-down of double-coated breeds such as Samoyed, Saint Bernard, Newfoundland, American Eskimo, Keeshond, Husky, Elkhound, Golden Retriever, etc. If asked to do a shave-down on one of these breeds, you will be asked to sign a waiver and will pay an extra charge.
Additional charging for de-matting pets will start at the cost of $5/minute and added to total cost of groom. We will NOT de-mat any pet if it will cause duress, pain, or injury to the animal. We will advise the client if the pet will need to be shaved & give the option to refuse service. If service is declined the service charge will still be due for time, travel & consult.
Cancellations of service under 48 hours incur a $50 cancellation fee. Same day cancellation may incur a charge up to the total cost of groom services scheduled. Monday appointments must be cancelled or changed by close of business Friday 5pm.
